IAA Treatments

Shiro Vasti is a special Ayurvedic therapy where the Shira (head) is subjected to a procedure called Vasti involving a pool of warm oil in a chamber over the head. It is the process of servicing your body, just as we do with automobiles.

This procedure is aimed at relieving neurological ailments and diseases. Shirovasti is for the treatment of ear issues and Vata-based damage to the cranial nerves. A bandage is tied and a cylindrical cap is secured around the head. The medicated oil, warmed to body temperature, is poured into the cap and allowed to soak into the scalp. This procedure in Ayurveda are aimed at protecting and fortifying this vital part of the physiology, to promote mental and physical well-being.

This servicing rejuvenates, enhances the life span of cells, boosts immunity, and increases metabolism in the human body. Depression, chronic headaches, migraines, and many other conditions are successfully treated in Ayurveda by Shiro Vasti.

This therapy has an extremely soothing and healing effect on the head and the structures within.
